About

Based in San Francisco, Liz Corman is a photographer and creative force whose work is rooted in a lifelong devotion to artistic swimming. She discovered the sport at age eight as the perfect fusion of her twin loves—swimming and dance—and wore out her VHS tape rewatching Team USA win gold at the 1996 Olympics. The poster on her bedroom door wasn’t just decoration—it was direction. From a young age, Liz understood the power of imagery to create heroes and inspire dreams.

That understanding deepened in 2003, watching French star Virginie Dedieu’s groundbreaking solo at the World Championships in Barcelona—a performance that for her redefined what the sport could be. That put her passion into hyperdrive just as she began her first photography classes. From that moment forward, she saw artistic swimming not just as an athlete, but as an artist—with a vision to elevate how the sport is seen and understood.

Today, she is the world’s leading visual storyteller for artistic swimming, with an unparalleled ability to translate the sport’s nuance and beauty for global audiences. A former athlete fluent in its language, Liz has earned the trust of national teams across five continents.
